Maine: Popham Beach

 When I was a camp counselor years ago we went to the most beautiful beach, called Popham Beach. It was near where we stayed in Maine and so we wandered over there. It was great to go to the beach and run around. When we arrived it was cold and almost stormy. By the time we left the kids were leaping and running in the sun. It was a beautiful afternoon. Next we headed to town and had a delicious lunch where I was able to eat my favorite: a lobster roll. Ben had some fish n chips and the kids ordered breakfast- all were happy!

Maine Idyll

We had beautiful fall weather on this excursion to Maine.

Maine Idyll is special to us as we have stayed there in the past and have 

connections to the area. It did not disappoint and only left me dreaming of future

Maine trips. It was very fun to introduce the kids to the leisurly Maine Idyll stay. 

Birthday Surprise Weekend: NYC

 It was so easy breezy traveling with one baby.

I had major Oliver bonding time on the trip which was wonderful.

Thanks to our dear Grandparents that came to watch the other two darlings.

 It was a splendid weekend.

Fall Beach Camping

 We headed back to the same spot for a weekend to camp.

We had such a wonderful time the first time we went we were all so excited to go again!

 Although much colder than our last visit it was a beautiful and fun weekend.

 We visited Holland, MI on our way home. It was also beautiful.

We walked out on this walkway - about half way out we realized it was a bit too extreme for our little family. The kids thought it was so cool! Water on both sides crashing against the rocks.

Begrudgingly we left the beach and went back to the city.

William's Birthday

Sweet William turned 2 while we were at the beach. 

We had such a wonderful time and he was such a happy boy.

Michigan Lake

 I had no idea how much we would love Michigan Lake. 

It is gorgeous! We spent the weekend and we were all in heaven. 

We needed the time together so much and it was wonderful.

 Happy children!

Flying home...

Headed home to see Daddy! Two weeks is too long to not see him...

 Summer afternoons spent with Mimi and Papa. The kids are in heaven playing with Ralph.

St. George

 We love spending time at Grandma and Grandpa's house in St. George.

Virginia Tanner

 Eliza did a 3 week dance class session while we were in Utah. 

She loved it and so did I.

Loving being with Grandma Care.

 The kids and I flew to Utah to visit our families!

 Grandma Care had the June/July birthday parties the day we arrived. 

The kids were overjoyed to be with cousins!
