Moving Day

We woke up very early and made the drive to Michigan.
We were sad to say goodbye to Kirksville.

Packing Day

Ben meticulously packed the truck. We are getting pretty good at moving.
This is our 7th time moving in 8 years.
 Little man: big truck.
 William loved the truck!
It was a very hot day.
We had great help loading our home. We were so grateful for Ben's parents to come and work with us. Their help was so needed and appreciated.

Fungus Ball

The med school had a dance called The Enchanted Fungus Ball, science nerds. Ben said he felt sheepish dancing, and did not feel like it. Then he did start dancing, "Doing this for you," he told me, minutes later he was starting break dancing circles. Dancing like it was 1999 and he was freshman at Cornell. Go Benny, go.

Dishwasher

My brother sent out a hilarious email describing a  family dinner scene that included a plunger, a loud/broken dishwasher, great food, and tools. After I read his great description I thought of my wonderful dishwasher.

Apparently there is more to be coming a doctor than white coats and neuroscience... an osteostache.

Westward Bound

I was worried about the long drive with the little ones. But, knew (a) it would be worth it to have our car for the summer and (b) Ben would make it fun. Ben made the drive fun + memorable by taking us on the scenic route. We went through the Rockies, which were breathtaking and very impressive. We stopped and picnicked, biked, slept, saw  my brother Josh's awesome project in Vail and overall had the best time. It was awesome just being in a car with Ben. The real victory was when he did not ask me to quiz him on med school questions. Summer, love it.
