Oliver turns 2!

Oliver turned 2!

We had a fun celebration tonight and that included the measuring stick.

When we sang Happy Birthday to him he was so pleased! 

As if he never dreamed it would be his turn for a birthday.

He has been the sweetest little one. Full of love for his older 

brother and sister and never far behind - trying to keep up.

 We were so blessed to have our dear parents come to celebrate and partcipate in Oliver's baby blessing.

It was such a special day and we were so grateful they could come!

 Brothers: William has been so gentle with Oliver. 

I am loving this, I think it is because he has a good example, Eliza.

Oliver 2 weeks: happenings

 He is becoming more alert and having little wakeful periods.

 We are really enjoying this fall weather where we can get out and about with Oliver.

 It is a must to bake with Grandma. Cookies are the tradition!

First few days home...

 The first few days home with Oliver included a lot of cuddling... this is how Ben always holds our babies. 

I love that little black head of hair.

 The kids loving him to death and always wanting to be the one holding him.

 We had a photographer come to document the big kids and take pictures of them doing their favorite things. She also spent a lot of time taking pictures of our sweet Oliver. 

 When I get the pics from the photographer - I will be sure to share.

Welcome Baby!

We welcomed a sweet 7lb 15 oz boy into our family!

He was minutes old in this picture.

Labor and delivery went very well and we were blessed to not have any problems.

Ben was able to deliver the little one with the direction of my  OBGYN.

It was the best moment having Ben tell me "It's a boy!"  

We named him Oliver Drew.

Ben came up with his name based on family history. It fits him very well.

Our family of five together - William could not take his eyes off Oliver and Eliza was so excited to hold the sweet little bundle.
