Oz Half marathon

Kirsten, me, and Megan

  I ran the OZ wickedly fast half marathon (yes, in Kansas :))  and these two lovely girls did the full marathon. They were awesome, they kept things fun and kept us on the right pace! I was so happy that I did it and am looking forward to the next race. 

Megan posted a great post that included some of the highlights, in her words, "An older guy asked Kristen, Sarah and me if he could "pace" with us for a while. He was hilarious. He sang paratrooper cadences to keep us steady. He made the miles fly by.
We saw a man running in bare feet.
Our fingers were frozen.
Lots of good material for people watching."

 Ben was very supportive and with the kids came to cheer me on about every 2 miles. Always looking out for me, he gave me pep talks and was there if I needed anything.
